“It’s all about the scenery along the route”

Five things

I played soccer in college • I have a pit mix named JoJo • I love to spend time with my family • I have become a coffee expert • I once tried to count all my freckles

My background is in hospital-based behavioral health care with adolescents and adults, where I facilitated group therapy and provided clinical support in high-acuity settings. I am trained in crisis management, trauma-informed care, DBT, CBT and supporting individuals during complex situations.

My connection to this work is both professional and personal. Growing up, my parents were foster parents and our home welcomed many children through foster care for short and long term placements. This experience is what has inspired me to pursue a career in mental health and family reunification. In addition to Ivy Lane, I also work at an adoption agency, which has further strengthened my passion for supporting children and families through life’s transitions.

I strive to create a safe environment where families feel respected and comfortable as they build and strengthen their relationships.
