“Our mental health is often overlooked or cast aside for things we deem more important. Therapy provides a dedicated space where you can take the time to work on healing YOU. Let’s work together to make a meaningful change in your life.”

Jessica Wilkiel, LCPC, EMDR, received her Bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and English Literature from Benedictine University and a Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. Jessica believes in a more eclectic approach to counseling, which takes into account the individual needs and goals of the client. The most common modalities utilized are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and client-centered.
Jessica has worked in both psychiatric and outpatient facilities providing goal-oriented therapy to both adolescents and adults. Jessica works primarily with clients that have trauma, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, relationship issues, and career issues. Jessica’s belief is that in therapy, as in life, it is important to have supportive people surrounding you. When we try not to burden others or avoid our issues in hopes that they will go away, we are doing ourselves a great disservice and often prolonging our pain. Make the commitment to break old patterns that are no longer serving you, find new ways to cope, and identify and improve the issues keeping you stuck.
